However, since their move to the highly religious, highly Mormon (or LDS) part of Utah, Tanner has had to go back into the closet and act as if he were straight, even to his best friend, Autumn.ĭuring his last semester at Provo High, his friend Autumn encourages Tanner to join the highly regarded and highly respected course known as "the Seminar" in which students write an entire book throughout the semester. Before moving to Utah, he was out and proud about his bisexuality and his accepting parents allowed him to express his sexuality openly. Tanner Scott is a senior at Provo High School in Utah who just can't wait but to move back home to California. ![]() ![]() The book has a moderate length of 404 pages but that didn't stop me from finishing the whole thing in an entire day! While looking to pick which book to read after Albertalli's amazing novel, I was drawn to "Autoboyography" by Christina Lauren. the Homosapien's Agenda" being made into "Love, Simon" had me recently going down the LGBT section of my local bookstore.
